Today they were installing the carpet when we visited the first time. The pool guys had just finished putting down some sort of white finish over the pool deck, in preparation for the cool deck. It is WHITE. I'm not sure how it will come across in the photos but it is so white it hurts your eyes to look at it without sunglasses on. The A/C units were installed too. So far its been nice inside with the help of the radiant barrier and the type of insulation the builder uses. Its been in the 80's outside and the temperature inside the house was 75 with no A/C, no blinds, no curtains. Thats pretty good. Later in the evening we went back to see how the carpet turned out and the whole place was locked up. We could see in thru the windows and looks like we have yet another mistake. The first step on the staircase, called the 'starter step' is supposed to be wood. They carpeted it. I'll try not to freak over that. Lastly, one photo of the newest baby bird to come out of our porch nest. Thats 3 so far this spring, mom is busy!
